VINEYARD
The heart of Jabloňka is rooted in tradition and innovation. We are a boutique winery dedicated to the revival of ancient viticulture, dating back to a 14th century decree by Charles IV. Located in Prague’s Troja district, our focus is on crafting exquisite Rhine Riesling varietals in limited quantities.
LOCATION
Perched on south-facing slopes of Černý Kopec (Black Hills) overlooking the Vltava River, Jabloňka boasts panoramic views of Prague. Our vineyard grows on shale bedrock, with unique subtropical qualities, infusing our vines with distinctive flavors.
HISTORY
The modern roots of Jabloňka trace back to 2013, when we excavated and revitalized the original stone terraces surrounding the hilltop chateau. This decade-long restoration effort included the planting of over 6,000 vines across 1 hectare, with a focus on high-quality Gewürztraminer, Riesling, and Red Riesling varietals. We recently completed our state-of-the-art winery.
PRODUCTION
Each grape is handpicked and gently processed in a pneumatic press. We take pride in our hands-on winemaking approach, using modern technology and solar energy for our grape processing.
FIBONACCI
We're thrilled to share that our Fibonacci tasting grotto, a collaboration with Mr. Radek Krčil, owner of Atelier Manuall, and Portuguese architect Marco Maio, received the BIG SEE Architecture Grand Prix Award 2023 and is a nominee for the Czech Prize for Architecture 2023!
